Regent Theatre When this theatre opened in June 1928 it was described as Australia's most luxurious theatre, which will set a standard for all time. The orchestra pit could accomodate a full size orchestra, and in 1930 a mighty Wurlitzer organ was installed. This building was modified in 1967, and is now home to The Regent Arcade.
